Award winning Architect Glenn Murcutt’s 2009 International Master Class.
January 30th, 2009
Internationally renowned Architect and winner of the 2009 American Institute of Architects Gold medal, Glenn Murcutt, will once again be holding his international Master Class.
The master class takes the form of a two-week residential design studio program, held at his iconic ‘Riversdale’ project on the Shoalhaven River, south of Sydney and at the University of Sydney’s School of architecture.
Murcutt is joined by other tutors including Brit Andresen, Richard Leplastrier, Peter Stutchbury and convener, Lindsay Johnston.
The program, with its ninth installment, will take participants through the architectural process for a conceptual building near ‘Riversdale’ and includes site investigation, studio tutoring, critiques, and lectures from the ‘masters’.
Since their inception the classes have welcomed practicing architects, professors, academics, and graduates from over 46 countries.
The next master class will be held from 12 – 26 July this year and six places are being held for Australian participants.
