Already a hit in Australia, Create Stone’s Terrazzo range has been launched in Singapore
February 5th, 2013
In October last year, Create Stone launched their sought-after Terrazzo range to the Singapore A&D industry. This was part of the SiD event held at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore.
Managing Director Stewart Macciolli and General Manager David Macciolli brought over 40 years of composite stone experience between them, so the company was able to anticipate the launch with confidence and pride. “Backed by that experience, we believe in our Terrazzo product and plan to take it to the world, starting with SiD Singapore,” said Stewart.

And why shouldn’t they be confident, when their Terrazzo range has already been specified on such major projects as Sydney International and Domestic Airports, Melbourne International and Domestic Airports, and The Hilton Sydney. Create Stone launched the new range in Australia prior to taking it to Singapore, and clearly it is already a favourite with Australian designers and architects.

The new Terrazzo range consists of six marble-based terrazzo stone tiles in six on-trend colours: Sand, Coral, Hazel, Emerald, Silver and Grey. It was created in response to popular demand for a classic terrazzo tile with a large-chip stone finish.

The range presents the perfect solution to those wanting something a little subtler than the larger Calacatta, but with more presence than the smaller chip Aida. The tiles are available in four sizes or in slab form, and can be given a polished or honed finish, for non-slip commercial applications.

Create Stone are also the team behind R TEN PLUS (R 10 +), the revolutionary non-slip surface treatment. R TEN PLUS can be applied to most tiles and hard-flooring materials (engineered quartz, ceramic and porcelain tiles, etc.) and has been trusted by such venues as Sydney International Airport and Melbourne’s Crown Casino. Its revolutionary aspect is that it doesn’t change the look of the surface, so it won’t affect the aesthetic integrity of your design project.
