20 years awarding excellence in Australian graphic design - get ready to congratulate, then party
November 21st, 2012
Australia’s premier graphic design awards, the AGDA Australian Design Biennale awards, are being held at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Saturday 24 November, 2012.
Since 1992, the AGDA Award program has been Australia’s barometer for creative excellence, and the program has grown organically across the event’s 20 year history.
This year, all award categories have been put through a rigorous process of review and realignment, resulting in a leaner, clearer and more relevant set of classifications and a much more streamlined awards event. The prestigious Pinnacle Award classification remains the highest acknowledgement of truly outstanding work.
After a condensed hour-long awards ceremony, the party starts and it’s time to let loose.
The Fourm space will be transformed by the guys from 21-19, while a collection of DJs, VJs, food and beverages will keep the place buzzing into the small hours of the night. This is a party for Melbourne’s design community, thinkers, makers and the clients who support them – a once in a decade party to celebrate, dance, meet peers and say cheers.
Tix include food, beverages and entertainment all night long, a special publication capturing the 2012 entries and other one off items on the night.
