Flokk is all about bringing together a collection of some of the best in European seating, and this attitude of inclusiveness goes even deeper.
February 14th, 2019
Flokk, which you may remember as Scandinavian Business Seating, is a European company that houses a wide range of the best seating products. How did it then showcase such an extensive range all in a cohesive manner during the biggest commercial tradeshow on the calendar?
Firstly, the Flokk stand was designed with the concept of inclusion, connectivity and belonging, which was expressed through a central circle that was lightly punctuated by a flittering edge. Another key feature was the vast openness, the entire stand opened itself up to the audience. This presented the perfect space to talk with two people from Flokk about the brand’s history and what are the latest products to be presented while at Orgatec 2018.
Michael Brisbane, VP of the partner export division, says, “Flokk is a house of brands, so we have a number of European and Scandinavian brands, HÅG of Norway, RH of Sweden, RBM of Denmark were the originals, and most recently we’ve added Giroflex from Switzerland, BMA from the Netherlands, OFFECCT from Sweden and last but not least Profim out of Poland.”
In terms of new products to showcase on the stand, General Manager Australia & New Zealand Andrew Green shares, “At Orgatec we’re doing a number of upgrades to some of the ranges. We are celebrating the 75th anniversary of HÅG with the launch of the limited edition HÅG Capisco Copper.”
At the end of the day, Flokk is all about inspiring great work and inspiring it was.
