Seamless Stone Completes Fashion Designers’ Luxury Residence
For those working in architecture and design, Alternative Surfaces and their X-Bond Seamless Stone product is reliable and beloved product, and it’s easy to see why.
X-Bond is a seamless overlay system that is hand applied onto floors, walls and joinery both internally and externally and has been embraced by many designers for its versatility. The beauty of X-Bond is its ability to be hand applied over existing substrates including concrete, cement sheeting, tiles, bricks, plaster and MDF.
A testament to the versatility of X-Bond Seamless Stone is the transformation a Fashion Designers’ beautiful home in Hollywood Hills, where X-Bond was used to cover the house’s immense stone walls and floors.

A total of 1,200 square meters of X-Bond was installed throughout the designer’s home, including the exterior walls, the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room, hallways, pool deck, house exterior, and white marble bathroom. As the X-Bond system is hand troweled over an existing substrate at only 3-4mm thick, this saved the client time and additional costs required to remove the existing wall and floor coverings.
