Building on the clean lines and simplicity of the Slab table, the new Slab StandUp from Luxxbox sets a new bar for agile working environments.
Sitting is the new smoking. This is the cliché we’ve all heard, and perhaps become somewhat numb to. After all, could sitting really be so bad for us? While the research is still somewhat in its infancy, it is increasingly understood that sitting for prolonged periods can indeed cause a range of negative health effects.
The latest addition to Luxxbox’s ThinkLab range, the Slab StandUp stands at a height of 1050mm and offers a contemporary design solution for offices looking to install standing desks. And this new addition to the range works in combination with the Luxxbox Slab table – combining the best of both worlds in a flexible workspace.
By creating agile spaces for people to listen, learn and create together, Luxxbox’s ThinkLab products, such as Slab StandUp aim to enhance employee productivity and creativity, along with a healthier workspace.
Constructed of a colour customisable sturdy metal brace frame and American Oak legs, the Slab StandUp tabletop can be supplied as either versatile white laminate or oak to complement the legs.
With lockable commercial-grade castors, the table can also be wheeled into position wherever needed, adapting to different spaces. Also available is a bottom tier basket to replace the lower brace, and/or a bag hook, so that you can keep your gear off the ground and it can move around as your desk moves too.
