Pleating Concrete by Melvin Ong of Desinere
“Pleating Concrete” was a workshop that sought to explore the intricacies of paper pleating and to transit this process of folding patterns from a planar origin into one that is volumetric through the method of casting concrete. The result of this is a series of objects, both interior and architectural in nature of application that individual students have designed.
