The new showroom in Singapore invites visitors to experience the French “Art de Vivre” with two collections – Les Contemporains and Nouveaux Classiques.
September 17th, 2013
The colourful character of French luxury furniture brand Roche Bobois translates readily into the new 7,500sqft Alexandra Road showroom, which carries a range of furniture pieces from the Les Contemporains (Contemporary) and Nouveaux Classiques (Classic) collections.
Les Contemporains is a range of bold and innovative furniture that draws inspiration from the modernist classics, while Nouveaux Classiques pays homage to France’s heritage of artisan cabinet-making as well as neo-industrial trends.
Since the beginning, Roche Bobois has collaborated with well-known designers such as Hans Hopfer, Pierre Paulin and Paola Navone. The brand also works with young design talents such as Christophe Delcourt and Sacha Lakic, and is known for its partnerships with fashion icons like Kenzo, Missoni, Jean Paul Gaultier and most recently, with Sonia Rykiel.
The French brand is highly prolific, launching a new collection twice a year. All the furniture pieces are manufactured exclusively in Europe, and are highly customisable in variety of dimensions, colours, leathers, woods and finishes.
The company opens one store a month around the world. Besides the showroom in Singapore, the brand has also launched a second showroom in New York (USA) and Bogota (Colombia), with more set to open soon.
