Western cowboys are the inspiration for this men-only grooming destination in Singapore.

Located at Blk 57 Eng Hoon Street, in Tiong Bahru’s conserved estate, We Need A Hero (WNAH) is a new one-stop grooming destination by Spa Esprit Group where men can go to get styled up from head to toe.

Concieved by Spa Esprit Group’s Creative Director Jerry De Souza, the interior’s fun and quirky character – with hints of masculinity – is designed to help men feel relaxed and comfortable the moment they step in.

In reference to ’Western cowboys’, the space is decorated with red studded stars that appear like sheriff badges, while the colour scheme is derived from the Texas flag. Special attention has also been paid to the details – the sinks, for instance, are wrapped in a tartan pattern (a nod to the plaid shirts that cowboys wear), and a bull image has been painted by hand onto a leather canvas.

Other unique features include retro barber chairs, which were specially produced in Japan, and a striking reception area made of carved wood and metal (top image) for a touch of glamour.
