The office is evolving, with the focus shifting from how it can accommodate technology and power, to how it can accommodate the user. Herman Miller Asia Pacific’s Liveable Office Award returns this year to give recognition to human-centred workspaces that address the way people and organisations work today.

The almost ubiquitous access to wireless data and the diminishing sizes of technological devices have led to a new outlook on the functions of the office: work is no longer a place we go to, but is something we do – anywhere and anytime.
Office designs have thus evolved, becoming more human-centred with a focus on creating healthy, high performance ergonomic environments that also encourage collaboration and promote greater interaction and communication amongst employees.
As an authoritative voice and leader in workplace design, Herman Miller Asia Pacific is now inviting design firms in the region to submit their best projects for recognition in Liveable Office Award 2015. The main aim of this competition is to raise awareness of the importance of good workspace design in helping companies achieve broader organisational goals.
