As we count down the weeks and days to the premiere of Hong Kong Indesign: The Event on 30 November, we’re excited to bring you the line-up of all the regional and international design houses to join us as Exhibitors.

The one thing all these names have in common is that the design they produce consistently raises the bar in the industry, and we’re anticipating this ambitious, unrelenting creative energy will be transposed to their presence at the inaugural Hong Kong Indesign: The Event.


Bolon – Bolon by Missoni

The exhibitors:

Bolon began as a weaving mill, and under the masterful direction of ‘the Bolon sisters’ (Annika and Marie Eklund), the name of Bolon became synonymous with world-leading creative innovation. Bolon’s collaborators include Missoni, Armani, and Google, as well as leading names in design such as Tom Dixon and Jean Nouvel. They’ll be launching Bolon by Missoni at the event.

BW have been known for nearly a decade as the Asian market leaders for design-driven imported furniture for commercial and hospitality interiors. Their brands include Okamura, Vitra, Viccarbe, Woodmark, Hay and Jardan, to mention just a few.

colourliving are trendsetters. Visit them for highly individual, high-end kitchens, bathrooms and lifestyle enhancements. Their 20,000 square feet lifestyle store is the first of its kind in Asia, and they’ll be launching a number of exciting new products at Hong Kong Indesign: The Event.



DEDON are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of outdoor furniture, represented in over 80 countries. Although the key to their success is probably the trademark highly durably fibre they use, they don’t sit still – they’re always collaborating with high profile international designers, and are definitely one to keep an eye on come event day.

Gray Hawk is an absolute must-see. From a small town in South Australia, Gray Hawk has been designing and making bespoke furniture for over 40 years. He sees his vocation as a spiritual quest, and this comes through in his almost transcendentally beautiful objects, rich with history, tradition and experience. His furniture is characterised by earthy textures, given unearthly elegance through elaborate carven shapes or mesmerising simplicity. He probably says it best: “Optimum functionality infused with beauty by impeccable artisans… to complement your experience of the material world.”


Haworth – Infinity

Haworth is an award-winning global leader in the design and manufacture of office furniture and organic workspaces, serving markets in over 120 countries. For the event, see Haworth team up with prominent designers and innovative Haworth xFriends Partners to showcase inspiring, meaningful work environments. They’ll also be showcasing a new fabric range – a collaboration between Haworth and Woven Image.

Infinity provides high quality architectural finishing products and services – glass, fabric, ceramics and stones, and other veneers and finishing. They became environmentally friendly before it was trendy, and are constantly pushing the boundaries and experimenting with new technologies.



JEB. Their mission is to assist the individual architect or designer with unique and flexible drywall, partition systems and glass and operable wall products. They design, manufacture and install, and in recent years, their product range has grown to include wall paneling, glass door and window frames, door handles, glass and metal mosaics, bamboo flooring, architectural mesh and aluminium sheeting – to name just a few!

Kokuyo was established in Japan in 1905. They began as a supplier of account ledgers, but this entry gave them many years of unique insights into the world of office operation, and from information management they moved to the production and sale of office furniture, store fixtures and furniture for public spaces. Together with their customers, they create ‘spatial values’.

Lamex strives to be the preferred office solutions provider in Asia, seeking to understand the needs of Asian customers through market trends. Their comprehensive product portfolio includes seating, desking, systems and storage.


POSH – Herman Miller’s Mirra 2

POSH. We cannot even begin to list the awards and accolades that POSH has earned. They design, manufacture and market office furniture solutions that are Good Environmental Choice Australia-approved. They were voted ‘Best Office Furniture Brand’ in Hong Kong in 2007 and the ‘Hong Kong Top Brand Awards 2010’.

RocaConcepts. This leading global bathroom brand is headquartered in Barcelona, founded in 1917 and now available in over 135 countries. You cannot miss visiting their new concept store on event day. Their showroom not only boasts a comprehensive range of bathroom products, but also an interactive gallery.

Steelcase. For over 100 years, Steelcase has been bringing human insight to business by studying how people work, wherever they work. Those insights help organisations achieve a higher level of performance, by creating places that unlock the promise of their people. Visit Steelcase to see what it means when someone really understands what they do.

David Trubridge

Seventhirtyam – light by David Trubridge

Seventhirtyam is the exclusive design agent and manager for notable Western design brands in Hong Kong and greater China. They source beautiful objects that deliver something fresh to the Hong Kong design landscape, and we can’t wait for the exciting launch of David Trubridge lighting at the event.

ViA (Poltrona Frau). The ViA showrooms specialise in the trading of luxurious furniture and kitchen fittings for commercial and residential projects in Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland China. At Star Street, their major brands are Agape, Cassina, Cappellini, Duravit, Poltrona Frau and Vola.

ViA (Poliform, Varenna). At Wing Fung Street, their major brands are Agapecasa, Barovier & Toso, B&B Italia, Giorgetti, Paola Lenti, Penta, Poliform and Varenna.


ViA – Fang by Giorgetti

VSC / TOTO. Over the past 20 years, TOTO’s Japanese-made products have been supplied to hundreds of famous hotels, commercial buildings and residential buildings in Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China. They are the largest manufacturer of plumbing related equipment in Japan, making everything from ceramic sanitary equipment to plumbing hardware.

Wilkhahn. Established over 100 years ago in Germany, Wilkhahn are the award-winning manufacturers of high-quality office chairs and conference furnishings. They will be launching a number of new products and product ranges for Hong Kong Indesign: The Event – ones that are being shown in Asia for the very first time! They’re also running giveaways, and drinks and a DJ will keep the party going.

Woven Image. This Australian company for wholesale textile design and interior finishes was established in 1987, after identifying a strong need for design driven textile products. They have made their mark through collaborations with Australian artists and leading designers, from Akira Isogawa to Mambo. Their textiles and vertical surface finishes for commercial interiors boast an aesthetic, colourful and energised point of difference in the industry.
