Spectacular installations and new exhibiting galleries promise to add to the experience in the second edition, to be held from 12 to 15 January at Marina Bay Sands.

A huge ‘moon’ made from 4,500 energy-saving bulbs (by Wang Yuyang, China), and an artwork combining painting and video projection (by Ranbir Kaleka, India) are just 2 of the many stunning and thought-provoking installations to be shown at Art Stage Singapore 2012.
“Artificial Moon” (2007) by Wang Yuyang (China) is made from 4,500 energy-saving bulbs and measures 4m in diameter.
Similar to last year’s inaugural fair, the second edition aims to showcase art in context by presenting the most exciting of Asia’s artistic creativity, and supporting the best of the region’s emerging galleries, not to mention special projects and talks and discussions.

120 exhibitors from 18 countries will be presented this year.
New participants include leading Asian galleries such as Gana Art Gallery (Seoul/Busan), Mizuma Art Gallery (Tokyo), and Tang Contemporary Art (Bangkok/Hong Kong/Beijing), as well high profile names like Lehmann Maupin (New York) and White Cube (London).
