If JSB “is lighting”, as their brand suggests, then it’s safe to say that their fresh new showroom in Melbourne “is very JSB”
August 13th, 2012
This Friday evening, the Saturday in Design Gold Sponsor will unveil the space for the first time to selected guests from across the design industry at a VIP party.
Custom designed by the creative minds at Woods Bagot, this Southbank Boulevard location neatly spans two floors and makes light work of bringing JSB’s highly regarded brands to the fore.
Throughout the space, in the truest demonstration of their attributes and capabilities brands like Modular, LTS, ACDC Lighting and Luceplan are employed to light work zones as well as showroom spaces.
Whilst drawing on JSB’s signature red logo, Woods Bagot also took the company’s motto “thinking outside of the square” and ran a bold red ’line’ throughout the showroom and offices, a gesture that evocatively links the contemporary space with it’s occupants.
Planned as a functional showroom that would adapt to varying demo requirements, its flexibility allows it to transition seamlessly into a space suitable for accommodating guests at launches and events – for which JSB are renowned!
Furnished throughout with pieces from Stylecraft and Wilkhahn, the showroom is a design hub in itself!
