Comprehensive design guide for the city of Sydney, now available
November 30th, 2007
Sydney finally has its first complete guide to design.
Available from 29 November, ’The Sydney Design Guide’ brings together the finest in architecture, fashion design, product design, graphics and art in Sydney.
As the first design directory Sydney has produced, the 350-page limited-edition book features Sydney-based designer profiles, and sections including ’Architecture & Built Environment’, ’Industrial Design’, ’Eat/Sleep/Drink’, and ‘Design Resources’.
Published by the makers of last years successful ‘The Melbourne Design Guide’ and designed by Studio Round, the book is a trade must-have.
The editors of the book, experienced design writers Viviane Stappmanns and Ewan McEoin, have recently launched their own design publishing venture, Alphabet Press.
The book is now available from selected outlets nationwide, as well as online, and can be experienced in exhibition form at Customs House, Circular Quay, until January 2008.
