Spanish Chicago-based artist Inigo Manglano has collaborated with UAP Studio to create Redberg 01, an iconic entry statement for high end retail development Forum 66 in Shenyang, China.
December 17th, 2015
The artwork titled Redberg 01, is part of a series of Inigo Manglano’s works that have been mapped on scientific data of a real iceberg in the Labrador Sea. Sited in this context, the sculpture appears to have been cleaved from the building behind, prompting consideration of the connection between the built and natural world. The artwork contains 523 members and 164 unique connection nodes, which have been made from stainless steel and stand 12 metres tall.
