The chairs and stools of Mario Mazzer’s new X Collection are characterised by a visible structural X
January 21st, 2013
Award-winning designer Mario Mazzer has created the new X Collection for Alma (Italy).
These chairs and barstools are characterised by the X that forms where the profile lines of the shell come together at the seat.
The polypropylene shell is soft and comfortable, and available in six colours, with either wood or metal frame. The visible X on the seat can be chosen in a colour to contrast or blend in.
The metal chair frames come in X-sled, X-spider (four legs, rectangular tubes) or X-four (four legs, round tubes).
The wooden frame (X-spider) can be natural ash or stained walnut or black. All designs except the X-spider are stackable.
The light design carries over to an aesthetic lightness, which, alongside their stackability, makes X Collection perfect for hospitality.
The wooden frames give a dignified air to restaurant dining and the metal frames are well-suited to office or cafe.
The flexibility of frame and colour means the X Collection also provides good options for the home, garden, and bar.
