Workshopped has opened its new showroom in Sydney’s emerging Rosebery design precinct, as the new home to exhibit, manufacture, and sell Australian design products.
“We’ve been looking for the right location for a showroom for sometime, and we’re really excited about being in Rosebery,” says Workshopped Co-Director, Raymond Scott said “Increasingly we’re working with architects and specifiers who are keen to utilise Australian design.”
The new Workshopped showroom is open now, and showcases the company’s relationships with a range of key Australian designers and design brands.
Max Hunt, Director of Hunt Furniture says “We work closely with architects and interiors industries and concentrate on high quality Australian made furniture that is competitively priced. We’ve always admired Workshopped’s commitment to supporting Australian designers and business and it was a no-brainer to form a relationship.”
His praise and excitement isn’t alone – TIDE Director George Harper says “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Workshopped. We focus on simplicity, attention to detail, quality and individuality. Workshopped has been advocating for Australian design for over 15 years and we’re really excited about the opportunity of working together”.
Since 2001, Workshopped has presented a stable of great and always updating Australian designers and companies, from the emerging and established to the iconic.
“It’s really exciting to see more people recognise the breadth and value of Australian design product. One of our best selling products is the Aeratron fan. It’s a widely acclaimed and award winning product, used both in residential and commercial contexts. People are always surprised and really pleased to find out it’s locally designed,” said Workshoped Co-Director, Leanne Gibson.
Open Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 5pm, and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
Workshopped’s new Rosebery showroom is located at 755-759 Botany Road, Rosebery NSW.
