Ad-Lib Work Lounge takes its name from the latin ‘Ad libitum’, or ‘at one’s own pleasure’, and it’s clear why. The lounge offers multi-purpose seating solutions; from serving as a high density stacking chair, through to operating as a light work chair ideal for work, education and training and table program.
Complete with headrest and optional rotational foldaway work surface, the Ad-Lib Work Lounge is an innovative solution to the changing nature of modern work environments. It is a multi-purpose seat with an integrated work surface designed ultimately for collaborative working and cooperation. The chair has been developed as a unique solution to modernity, enabling movement, flexibility and teamwork; breaking away from the static environments of traditional work settings.
The Work Lounge chair incorporates a pullout tray table that instead of being fixed to one particular side is orbital, which allows people to sit and work together with a lap-top positioned on the table between them – not to mention this solves to tricky problem of tray tables for left handers. The tray table can also be folded away behind the chair if the user is seating at a standard table.
