Viccarbe is a furniture design company born out of the Spanish city of Valencia. The brainchild of industrial designer Victor Carrasco, the brand pays homage to warm summers and the sunset hues of the city’s architecture with products that are relaxed, unpretentious and unassumingly elegant.
With such beautiful products designed by the likes of Naoto Fukasawa, Jasper Morrison, John Pawson and, Patricia Urquiola, it is no surprise that Viccarbe can be found in projects around the world: from the Centre Pompidou in Paris; Takasaki City Theatre in Japan; ME Hotel in Barcelona; Dior headquarters in Shanghai; the Regus and Spaces co-working offices in Malaysia and Hong Kong; and Allianz Stadium in Sydney.
Leading furniture and design name Space Furniture brings the latest Viccarbe collections to the Asia Pacific, inviting architects and designers to view their range of contemporary products. But with so many to choose from, we’ve selected our top six to help bring a touch of the Mediterranean to any space.

Designed in collaboration with Spanish creative studio Lievore Altherr Molina, the Sistema Collection has flexibility at its core. Perfect for commercial, retail and hospitality typologies alike, Sistema features clean lines and elongated shapes, with the Legs Lounge, Floor Lounge, Outdoor Lounge, Outdoor Bench and Sistema Legs Lounge all featuring different armrest options and the ability to choose from a finishes and fabrics library for a customised approach.

The Funda Collection represents Viccarbe’s humanistic approach to design, with seating options that look ready to sink into. Inspired by the gesture of two hands embracing, the Funda Chair, Funda Lounge Chair and Funda Bold Lounge Chair are an ode to slow working and the classic Mediterranean work-life balance.

From the iconic soft wrinkles of the Chair and Lounge Chair, to the oversized proportions of the Bold Lounge Chair, designer Stefan Diez has championed comfort and stability in each design, while an intelligent production system allows every element to be replaced individually to extend the product life cycle.

Noha is Viccarbe’s broadest and most ambitious collection, designed with the goal of bringing the pleasure of living into the workplace. Their range of seating options all have pillow-like silhouettes, with designers Ludovico and Roberto Palomba reimagining utilitarian office and boardroom chairs into something decidedly more chic.

Effortlessly modern and delightfully plush, the Season Chair is the brainchild of Piero Lissoni. Made of a single cube block for the base and a thinner rectangle for the back, this geometric chair is perfect for restaurants, homes, hotels, offices, meeting rooms and retail spaces. Designers can find an end-look that works for them, with different colours and material options to choose from, as well as the potential to add casters on the base and a band at foot height for increased versatility.

Designed by Viccarbe founder Victor Carrasco, Savina is a collaborative, modular collection that comprises an armchair, sofa, and chaise lounge. Large in profile with pillowy-soft upholstery, each Savina piece is comfortable and enveloping, allowing for sustained collaborative work, breakout discussions and lounging.
Like the Funda collection, the Savina products are made of distinct elements that can be individually replaced or recycled for a more sustainable approach to specification.

Common Collection
Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa brings “Common” to Viccarbe: a versatile modular system of benches and side tables that work in open spaces, welcoming areas, halls, and collaboration zones. The varied dimensions of the Bench and Outdoor Bench allow for infinite compositions and layouts, while the Low Table can be slotted around or between the curves of the seating to help shape their use. The Common collection can be used as seating and resting options on its own, or the inclusion of an integrated electrification system can transform the collection into mobile and team work zones.
