The Spinal Armchair complements the Spinal Table System also designed by Paul Leroy. The chair consists of three basic elements: the actual leg construction, the swivel link, and the seat. The leg construction is made of matt-chrome steel, consisting of the familiar four-legged structural Spinal column, which provides the chair’s supporting base. The swivel link is an important element in the chair’s flexibility and practical use, as the legs are fixed.
The Spinal Chair has been developed with two seat variants: an upholstered variant which is ideal for meeting rooms and conference rooms, where sitting comfort over longer periods is important, and a seat variant in laminated veneer, ideal for canteen use etc. It also comes in a stool with two height options.
