Screenwood’s signature blend of natural timber with acoustic technology catches the attention of Custance Associates Australia Pty Ltd.

Screenwood creates unique finished solutions by combining the beauty of natural timber with the latest acoustic technology So it comes as no surprise that Custance Associates Australia Pty Ltd chose to specify Screenwood for a recent project at Centric Wealth.
Custance added Screenwood 9040 standard grade timber ceiling panels to the project’s communal spaces, adding warmth and character to the room. Screenwood linear timber panels are available in a variety of certified timbers and profiles. Not only a beautiful architectural feature; the screens also provide excellent acoustic properties.
Ceiling & wall surfaces can be brought to life using the warmth and texture of natural timber. Screenwood Ceiling and Wall Panels can be applied in any ceiling or wall installation to create a timeless style from the highest quality finish.

Screenwood Ceiling & Wall Panels are manufactured from solid timber slats in a variety of profiles. The system incorporates a unique black acoustic scrim backing which enhances sound absorption, making it ideal for architectural acoustic installations where echo reduction is critical to the comfort and amenity of the room – as was the case in the Centric Wealth project.
Screeenwood’s systems are designed to be modular and pre-finished, which afforded Custance the luxury of an easy installation process. This proprietary design and engineering results in a linear timber finish avoiding the time consuming individual front fixing of slats on site. Panels are fire tested, VOC tested and NRC rated to offer a complete solution. Screenwood also carries PEFC certification.
When sourcing bulkier sections of Hoop Pine, select grade timber may not always be available. Choosing a standard grade timber however, is not necessarily a compromise in design as the knots provide a natural feature. Where knots might cause smaller timber sections to bend or twist, our large battens will maintain their structural integrity while adding an appealing rustic element.
