A series of spherical luminaires, designed by Matteo Thun.
January 14th, 2010
The ornamental Sconfine light designed by Matteo Thun is an elegant addition to any room.
Partially transparent with chrome or bronze coating, in situ the light illuminates with an ethereal impression, seemingly floating thanks to an inner lit sphere made up of opal glass, which optimises glare control.
With its soft lines and spheres, the Sconfine form is at once distinctive, but also highly adaptable to any interior space.
The luminaires are available in three sizes, 170mm, 250mm, 500mm – a large light might work as a focal point in a room or many small spheres delicately
distributed will ensure an elegantly discreet look.
Light sources range from energy-saving lamps through to state of the art LED technology.
Sconfine Sfera with the LED module combines all the advantages of LED technology with a striking aesthetic appeal.
