Architecture inspires a contemporary lounge range.
March 12th, 2010
Tailored for architectural loungescapes as its name evokes, Ross Didier’s Quoin range offers a seating solution perfectly adapted to contemporary commercial settings.
Bringing to mind architectural quoins – the external support angle and locking wedge at the corner of buildings – the distinct leg frames are designed and engineered with angled verticals that allow thinner profile thickness with increased stability and support.
The lounge range’s contemporary aesthetic appeal and sturdiness are perfectly in keeping with the needs of the contract interior markets, such as retail and reception seating.
The refined and slender lounge range is detailed with smart, geometric lines throughout the upholstery and raised on unique leg supports that emphasise the clean form.
This leg design is now successfully registered, with plans to extend this support into further finished products, including tables and storage units.
The series of modular lounge sizes, ranging from compact single chairs to three seat lounges, offer additional options for arms and ottomans, available as singles or three seat lengths.
Additional options are available to adapt to the individual’s needs – including adaptable arms and custom made dimensions, as well as a wide selection of fabrics and leathers. ’¨
