Eero Aarnio is a Finnish designer most well known for his innovative use of polymers and fibreglass in 1960’s furniture design.

This range of polyethylene planters for Italy’s Serralunga retain some of that whimsy that defined Aarnio’s early stylings. The simplicity in form, strong curves and bold colour use serve the Primavera collection well.

“As a designer I love simple, basic shapes like those of a sphere or tube. In this particular planter, these two shapes meet in a classic and harmonious manner’ explains Aarnio

As meticulously engineered as it is aesthetically designed, Primavera is rotationally molded and made from 100% recyclable polyethylene that is both impact resistant and crush proof.

Measuring at a statuesque 120cm in height, Primavera is available in a range of appealing colours and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Optional features also include a lighting and water drainage system.
