Entertaining outdoors is fundamental to Italian culture, and homes, hotels and restaurants embrace patios, terraces and gardens that celebrate scenery, climate and comfort.

The design-forward aesthetic is also fundamental, and the perfect furnishings for outdoor rooms balance aesthetics, robustness and sensory pleasure.
Pedrali has been partnering with leading designers to create award-winning outdoor furnishings that merge indoor sensibilities with outdoor durability. The 100% Italian-made chairs, tables, lounges, day beds, rugs and accessories meld timeless, fluid lines and material lightness with organic, fluid and tactile softness.

The summer 2025 collection embodies these timeless design themes in hues that echo the ochres of Tuscany and Mediterranean seascapes. The forms are evocative, summoning pictures of seasonal pleasures like cocktails by the pool, long lunches in the garden under a grape arbour and al fresco brunch on a terrace caressed by a citrus-scented breeze.
The enveloping seats, modular sofas, functional tables and wireless lighting designed by Pedrali also lend themselves to dynamic occupation of space. Pieces are easily arranged and rearranged to suit changes of lifestyle, the ebb and flow of family and friends, times of serenity and reflection and moments of exuberance and celebration.
Comfort and the sensory experience are at the heart of the approach to translating designer vision into tactile product. Cutting-edge materials including weather-resistant fabrics and water-repelling upholstery also ensure these are pieces that will bring delight for years to come.

Three recent projects showcase the beauty and sophistication of the 2025 collection.
At Casa di Langa Hotel & Resort, creating spaces for conviviality and relaxation with impeccable style was achieved with discerning choices from Pedrali’s latest designs. In a sun-soaked courtyard, Guinea armchairs by Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo with their sense of lightness and elegance pair beautifully with the metallic minimalism of Laja tables by Alessandro Busana. Beside the pool, Rail sun loungers are an invitation to bask beside the shimmering water, with adjustable backrests and textural cushioning allowing guests to match the seating to their mood.
At Villa Riviera resort, located between the visitor hot spots of Portofino and Cinque Terre, the sea view is one of the main events, and the perfectly positioned terrace invites guests to contemplate the vista. Tribeca armchairs and lounges by Mandelli Pagliarulo in distinctive terracotta hues that echo Etruscan pottery suggest moments of ease and serenity with a woven, extruded PVC material that imbues lightness and a touch of glamour. Paired with the sophisticated and minimalist steel Nolita tables designed by Mandelli Pagliarulo, settings are created that complement the nature of place.

For absolute relaxation, Villa Riviera guests can retire to the Volt armchairs by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci, resting a drink or a book on the companion Arki-Base tables with their industrial look and robust finish.
In the private life, gardens and outdoor areas can become wonderlands which incorporate scenes, rooms and zones each enhanced and defined by a distinctive aesthetic and curation of furnishings. For a private villa in Noto, imagination was given free scope, balancing playful and sophisticated, structure and fluidity, comfort and elegance. Connected by winding pathways and defined by plantings and landscape features, the gardens are the perfect backdrop for the Buddy Oasi collection. These organic, generously sized ottomans and sofas designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli are playful, modular, and rich in character, with moveable backrests and a compelling colour range. The range includes the Arki-Sofa, an outdoor lounge with an option of a plus-version with wider, deeper seats. Another highlight of the collection is the Reva Cocoon designed by Patrick Jouin, a system of modular outdoor lounge elements including corner seats, linear seating and chaise lounges that marries a natural appearance of stainless steel woven with rope and welcoming weather-resistant cushioning.

This distinct landscape created for pleasure also features outdoor chairs from Philía, by Odo Fioravanti, which have been selected for the prestigious ADI Design Index and are in the running for the Compasso d’Oro 2026 award. Helping to create zones for delight are Twiny outdoor rugs by DWA Design Studio, the lightness of Nolita Relax by Mandelli Pagliarulo, the glamour of the Anemos table by Pio e Tito Toso and the welcoming comforts of Babila Twist armchairs by Odo Fioravanti. And in the green zones, Island by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci brings an element of simplicity and softness that can be easily configured to meet the needs of a moment or an occasion.
