This new design by Spanish duo crouscalogero invokes a sense of childlike wonder.
March 28th, 2012
Designed by Crous & Calogero for Estiluz, the Balloon ceiling and wall-mounted lamp is playful yet elegant.

Resembling an inflated balloon, the lamp appears to be floating mid-air.
Allowing for unstructured clustered formations on multiple surfaces, the lamp is ideal for children’s bedrooms, playrooms or anywhere calling for a light-hearted, whimsical effect.

The translucent shade conceals an energy-saving fluorescent bulb that emits a warm, even glow. A pull string, made to look like an adjoining ribbon, can act as an on/off switch in the wall mount version and comes in various colours.
Whatever its application, Balloon brings lightness and air to its surroundings.

The Balloon lamp is available in Australia from ALTI Lighting.
