Launched recently at this year’s Sydney Contemporary Art Fair, EDITION by Living Edge flies in the face of design convention to celebrate the blurred lines between art and furniture. It’s rebellious, cheeky and we can’t get enough!
'Leda Low Table Sculpture' designed by BD Barcelona based on the 1935 painting “Femme à la Tête Rose” by artist Salvador Dalí.
'Soap' lounge designed by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari (aka Toiletpaper) for Gufram. This bar of soap is able to eliminate any residual dust and dirt from small couches, large closets, ottomans, cushions, and all the most hidden and insidious corners of bathrooms, living rooms and kitchens.
'God' designed by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello for Gufram, 1972. The hall tree Cactus is an icon in Gufram’s Multiples collection that has become a myth in the history of design and has deservedly become part of the collection of the most important museums and cultural institutions all over the world.
'Nordic Pratone' designed by Ceretti Derossi Rosso for Gufram. Lightyears away from the usual types of middle-class interior designs of the ‘70s, it has become a point of reference in the history of design.
'Capitello' designed by Studio 65 for Gufram. What happens if a Majestic Greek column falls down and breaks into several pieces? The answer is obvious: it is transformed into a Gufram lounge.

EDITION, by Living Edge now offers a curated collection of modern and contemporary design for even the most fervent followers. Four years in the making, EDITION made it’s official debut at this year’s Sydney Contemporary Art Fair (September 7-10) with a gallery-style installation for art and design admirers to peruse and enjoy.
Under the banner of Living Edge, Aidan and Jo have built a legacy as the foremost design destination for architects, interior designers, design enthusiasts and those who share discerning taste. While the two have always been committed to authentic design and providing clients with the most distinguished and desirable products available, this new venture offers a niche collection of modern and contemporary design for even the most fervent followers and fans.
Collecting design, like art, is both for investment and pleasure. Each piece in the EDITION range is selected for the story and characteristics, which contributes to its personality and value. These pieces are distinct for their iconic status, incomparable craftsmanship, legendary design, or expression of a cultural ideal. Many of the pieces in the collection are limited or special edition and are numbered or marked by the manufacturer to reflect its exclusivity. Rounding out the diverse collection are pieces from Gufram, BD Barcelona, Established & Sons, E15 and Lasvit.
