The spotlight is on Discus, the new range by Zumtobel.
December 22nd, 2010
The Discus range by Zumtobel combines sleek design with the latest in technology to create the first spotlight system developed especially for LED.
The Discus spotlight blends perfectly into all kinds of architecture thanks to its low-profile design and three colour options – black, white or silver.
The spotlight can be rotated through 360 degrees and pivoted through 90 degrees for maximum versatility.
Track-mounted and ceiling-recessed versions are available, each featuring a compact, discreet design in keeping with the Discus’ minimalist aesthetic.
The Discus’ unique ring design with cooling ribs allows for optimised thermal management. Cooling is passive thanks to the chimney effect of air conduction made possible by the blades surrounding the LED module.
As well as LED, the Discus is available with high-pressure discharge lamps ranging from 20W to 70 W.
Hybrid solutions incorporating LED and conventional lamp technology are also possible.
State-of-the-art technology and modern, unobtrusive design – the Discus range by Zumtobel is the ideal lighting solution for retail spaces.
