Stormtech introduced Australia to linear drainage for bathrooms in the 1990’s.

Since then the range of Slimline grates has been expanded and the products are now used in many commercial projects, such as hospitals, aged care facilities, commercial kitchens, hotels and luxury resorts.
One of the latest award winning projects where Stormtech’s custom designed architectural drains were used is the Crown Metropol in Melbourne. In the vast wet area on level 27 housing a day spa and the pool, they were the perfect choice for the removal of large quantity of waters overflowing the infinity pool.
To give a sense of symmetry the same widths wedgewire grates were used along the large windows. Those on the pool side have built-in LED lights to illuminate the pool area at night time.
