We have elected to support the Cystic Fibrosis Unit of the Sydney Children’s Hospital (Randwick) this year. Last year’s event, benefitting the Children’s Hospital (Westmead) was not only an entertaining afternoon for guests, but raised over $50,000. We hope to emulate that result this year and we believe this will be possible with the support of like-minded businesses and individuals.
This year promises to be another terrific fundraising event with 180 tickets already sold and generous sponsors on board. Tickets are $165 per person + GST and include a 3 course lunch with beer and wine.
There will be live race coverage, raffles, auctions, a calcutta and prizes including a prize for the best dressed. Betting and credit card facilities will be available on the day.
If you would like to contribute to this wonderful cause either by donating prizes for the auctions and/or by purchasing tickets, please contact Edwina Keighery of the Cystic Fibrosis Melbourne Cup Fundraiser Committee on 02 8117 5130.
