On Wednesday 23 September {small} bytes of happiness in conjunction with Wattyl will present the Wattyl 2021 Colour Forecast – Colour Antidote.
September 17th, 2020
The next instalment of {small} bytes of happiness will be in collaboration with Wattyl for the Wattyl 2021 Colour Forecast. Wattyl’s Colour Marketing Manager, Sarah Stephenson, will be exploring the insights and information that shaped the 2021 forecast. It will cover the macro trends, behavioural shifts, new product developments and consumer attitudes we are seeing unfold; all of which lead into how we live our lives, inhabit our spaces, design our homes, and ultimately make our colour choices.
The theme of the 2021 forecast, Colour Antidote, speaks to the ability for colour to characterise our spaces just as much as furniture and appliances do, and the recognition that colour has the ability to elicit emotional responses. Now more than ever we are seeking spaces – both public and private – that offer sanctuary, safety, and tranquillity. Our colour choices can respond to those needs.
As a former teacher at the International School of Colour and Design, Sarah Stephenson is a highly regarded forecaster, educator and presenter in the world of colour and design.
