At time of writing, ‘Sydney Indesign: The Experience’ is only three months away, its time to get serious about design.
May 15th, 2013
Since 2003, avid designers, architects, suppliers, manufacturers, students, and Design Hunters™ have been flooding the streets of Brisbane, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney over the weekend of Saturday in Design. Their keen sense of style and taste, and a hunger for the newest (and the best) in design has fuelled its evolution and expansion to a three day design experience, with a brand new format, look, and name; Sydney Indesign.
Our new super-studio Galleria, in Eveleigh, is our answer to Milan’s Salone del Mobile. Opening on Thursday August 15, this highly curated and progressive space will showcase a diverse range of sectors across the design industry, allowing us to minimise the footprint of the event whilst giving you the most current insights into the future of design in Australia.
The event still incorporates the iconic, free bus network within each precinct, with Sydney’s best showrooms going all out to impress and inspire you over Friday and Saturday of Sydney Indesign. Our bus service will transport you from precinct to precinct, here you can explore each showroom and studio, meeting the designers and international guests onsite while enjoying exclusive product launches, special events and creative collaborations.
Finally, in order to help you navigate all these events and squeeze everything in, we’re launching our all-new Indesign app for iPhone and Android devices – our interactive maps, exhibitor updates, live social media feed and planner will revolutionise the way you experience Sydney Indesign.
To find out more, visit the Sydney Indesign website or pre-register here and go in the draw to win exclusive designer products.
