November 16th, 2007
The Italian Trade Commission and Regione Lazio, in conjunction with Alta Roma, presented ‘Lazio Lifestyle in Australia’ in early November.
A showcase of fashion and jewellery from Italy’s Lazio region, highlights included a Melbourne Cup lunch, and a fashion parade held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.
A delegation, consisting of fashion designers, jewellery makers, artisans and politicians, visited Sydney in early November.
They attracted interest from media, fashion and textile buyers, wholesalers, design institutions, retailers and the general public, who were invited to attend exhibitions, meetings and seminars during this period.
With much buzz and excitement surrounding the ‘Lazio Lifestyle in Australia’ events, it can safely be called a successful exercise in gaining attention for the Italian region.
