Where do interior graduates go once they’ve graduated and what is the future of interior architecture?

‘Permeable Boundaries: Interiors – a field of possibilities’ celebrates 20 years of interior architecture at the Curtin University of Technology.

Opening April 9, the exhibition looks at the present state of interior architecture and the future direction the discipline may take.

Subjects such as wellbeing, business, social justice and community engagement will be explored on 9 ‘totems’, with stories and samples of work by alumni.

The exhibition will be opened by Hon John Day MLA, Minister for Planning, Culture and the Arts on Thursday, 8th April at 6pm, and will feature guest speaker Patrick Chong, alumnus and Founding Director of 3DESIGN+ASIA, Singapore.

The exhibition launches a year’s series of discussions, forums, book launches, and course innovations focusing on the future of INTERIOR Architecture.

Permeable Boundaries: Interiors – a field of possibilities runs from Friday 9 April until Friday 30 April 2010 at John Curtin Gallery, Curtin University Perth.
