The recent acquisition of digital agency The Nest, will now see creative agency Frost* become The Frost* Group.
September 24th, 2013
The renaming of the firm will continue to see the The Nest trade as a separate entity however it will now do so servicing its existing clients as well as acting as Frost’s digital offer.
As part of the acquisition, the ten-strong team at The Nest will now be internally accommodated a Frost’s Surry Hills studio space in Sydney. Sitting on the newly named company’s board is Nest’s founder Stuart Buchanan who will also take up the role of Head of Digital for both brands.
Buchanan will work closely with Executive Creative Director Vince Frost, as well as Creative Director at Frost*, Anthony Donovan, to provide digital expertise for the group’s now expansive roster of clients.
“This is an incredibly exciting time of growth and expansion for us” explains Vince Frost. “The acquisition comes at a time when digital is ever expanding in significance and crosses over into areas that we have traditionally owned. This move will feed the success of both Frost* and The Nest, allowing both entities to capably provide a more rounded offer”.
Having founded The Nest in 2010 and worked closely with Frost* in that time, Buchanan is buoyed by the opportunity to see his company reach its full potential, something the acquisition will deliver.
“I am excited to be able to steward The Nest towards the continued growth and future success I always knew it was capable of achieving.”
In 2013, DQ Magazine named The Nest as one of the “Top Ten Forces & Faces in Australian Design”:
