A stand at a design fair is as important as the product on display. designEX 2008 awarded Axolotl with the title of best stand. See why here.
April 21st, 2008
Axolotl won two awards for the best stand at designEX this year. Best stand 30-70m, and Best Dressed Stand’.
The stand exterior was all MDF and aluminium, rusted in Axolotl brown rust. The columns were formed glass inlaid with rust clover leaves, and the floor was Axolotl interlaid glass laminate ‘Miro’ with a clover leaf design. The result was outstanding.
Designed by Idiom Design Practice headed by Phillip Chia, Axolotl’s stand was certainly the stand out of the fair.
