August 27th, 2014
In 1949, not far from the northern foothills of the Alps in the Lower Bavarian town of Bodenkirchen, Martin Bulthaup bought a sawmill and founded a furniture factory. Two years later, he began making kitchen sideboards with exceptional high-quality craftsmanship and materials.
Fast-forward to today, and bulthaup is a highly respected brand name known throughout the world for its innovation, quality and seamless design solutions.
bulthaup joined Saturday in Design, Singapore (now known as Singapore Indesign) as an exhibitor in 2012, with their spanking new 2,034 square feet showroom drawing in the design crowd all eager to experience the company’s famed system kitchens firsthand.
This year, bulthaup once again partners with Singapore Indesign as an Exhibitor, and it is upping the ante in terms of programme offering.
On event day, 4 October 2014, visitors to Singapore Indesign will get a special preview of bulthaup’s b3 kitchen system in Aluminium Sand-Beige finish. The new colour, akin to a soft champagne gold, will be on display in the brand’s elegant showroom.
The b3 system is exceptional for the limitless freedom it affords the living space. The b3 multifunction wall conceals water, electricity and gas pipes and allows cabinets to appear as though they are floating. It is as functional as it is beautiful, and can help merge the kitchen and living areas together to form a single unit.
Along with the b3 kitchen system, bulthaup’s highly covetable b2 kitchen system will also be on show. And being the great host that they are, bulthaup will be serving up delicious German canapés and desserts from 2 – 5pm.
Visitor can also participate in a sketch competition (taking place all day) for a chance to win fabulous bulthaup prizes. The first 50 participants receive an exclusive gift bag.
