Real Flame helped keep things warm on Swan Street, with their great range of gas fires, including the new Captiva 600 and 900.

Across the road, Insitu fired up their knitting machine to launch the Granny lamp from Casamania, as well as a number of new products from brands such as Plank, Casprini and Bluesquare.

A hop, skip, and a jump away, James Moran presented their latest ranges of Australian-made furniture, including the Peel chair.
FeelGood Designs took over the Saab Showroom again this year to present their latest products – including the playful elephant-like beanbag design, ‘Chang’.
Zuster’s showroom was buzzing throughout the day, pulling the crowds to their Swan St Showroom to launch their Jade range.
While upstairs in the shared space with four exhibitors, Australian Workstation Manufacturers were offering an iPad to one lucky visitor and launching their latest ranges.

Also sharing this space was Designer furniture collection, who launched Tropitone and Rockwood Teak ranges; Dexion Office, who launched the Strata swing-door cabinet, and the outstanding Volker Haug with his quirky and colourful range of lighting adding a little extra something to the location.

Down at the Reece bathroom life showroom, they announced the winners of the Bathrooom Innovation Awards to a packed room. Congratulations to David Goss of Wood Marsh who took out the $20,000 professional prize and Alex Lee who took out $10,000 in the Student division – the entrants were truly outstanding!

On Burnley Street, Apaiser had their latest beautiful ranges of baths on show, including an elegant new freestanding two-toned bath, and Eco Outdoor presented their latest ranges in the outdoors indoors space, complete with trees and water features.
Multyflex and Gunnersen had a red fridge full of red (San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa and Maltesers), showing off their integrated refrigeration and wine storage solutions, as well as firing up the Wolf appliances with in-house demonstrations.
Around the corner Rogerseller and Boyac Contract joined forces, inviting guests to enjoy an amazing paella (that thing was massive!) at lunch on Saturday, as well as treating them to a massage in celebration of Effegibi’s new Hammam Steam Room. Boyac Contract presented their beautiful new range of horsehair fabrics – stunning.

Finally, Living Edge introduced some of their latest product, including the dynamic, sports-inspired Arras bench by Marc Fong. But the standout, as last year, was most definitely the Chandon Cork chair competition – so much creativity – where the Danny Deck Chair entry took out the prize.

Upstairs you would have been hard pressed to find a better collection of emerging design than the Launch Pad program this year; bringing together young designers and industry professionals.
If you didn’t end your day in Richmond, you surely headed to South Melbourne for more of what Melbourne had to offer…
