What do you do: Freelance writer on architecture and design, associate editor of Steel Profile magazine
Favourite designer: Frank Gehry for his playfulness in buildings
Favourite design destination: Helsinki for the plethora of Aalto buildings, design shops and snow
Inspiration: Magazines! Especially local house and design titles and Dwell, which I subscribe to. Also love talking to architects about projects and ideas.
Work in progress: Collaborating with architects on books about architecture and design, magazine articles, looking after Alex
Other areas of interest: Aboriginal art – having lived in Alice Springs for two years, sustainable and affordable housing (see my Churchill Fellowship report on that subject at churchilltrust.com.au) and working my way through Sydney’s design and cake shops! Also enjoy yoga and the beach, and doing “projects” at home.
