The EB 333 is the hero of the Gaggenau oven range. After wowing design lovers for three decades, the oven was revised last year as a part of the 333rd anniversary of the brand, and is now more impressive than ever.
The EB 333, at 90 cm-wide and sleek in design, is an icon of the Gaggenau design legacy. After over 30 years of pleasing at home chefs and design enthusiasts alike, the classic 90 cm wide oven was revised and redesigned in celebration of the company’s 333rd anniversary. Changes aside, the EB 333 remains true to the original design and of the Gaggenau design philosophy of the Traditional Avant-Garde.
This idea the traditional and the avant-garde coming together is at heart of why the Gaggenau brand continues to impress. Made almost entirely by hand, and standing equally as functional oven and design statement piece, the EB 333 is a juxtaposing object where timeless craftsmanship is married to innovative design. New to the reworked model are a wide door and front panel, made from a single piece of 3 mm stainless steel – creating a powerful yet sophisticated façade. This door also enlists a new style of cantilevered hinge and advanced cushioning technology, providing soft opening and closing movements – all in spite of an impressive 20kg door weight
An enhanced lighting concept rounds out the new EB 333, along with a new, easy-to-use panel free control module with touch display. In addition, for those whose design love rests more in the traditional, exclusively designed black rotary knobs are available to purchase as a special accessories.
Since their first unveiling and launch in 1986, Gaggenau’s 90 cm-wide ovens have given design-appreciating foodies, and food-appreciating designers, the professional cooking experience in the privacy of their own home – whether you’re a chef at play, or a keen amateur experimenting in the kitchen.
The redesigned EB 333 is a celebration of Gaggenau’s legacy, but also a way of looking forward, “It is our most iconic design piece and perfectly combines Gaggenau’s passion for modern innovation and precise craftsmanship,” says global Gaggenau brand head Sven Schnee, “The oven EB 333, more than any other appliance, represents our rich past, meeting with our present and our future. Gaggenau continues to put the kitchen at the heart of the home and the EB 333 oven is the soul of the kitchen.”
