All fabrics have the GECA Ecolabel and are carbon neutral from the sheep to the fabric supplied for the furniture. The company’s carbon offset last year was equivalent to taking almost 2000 cars off the road but significant changes in their production chain have achieved an outstanding 43% reduction in greenhouse emissions so that, this year, their offset will be almost halved. All fabrics are certified low VOC and meet the Green Star Office Interiors standard for emissions. They are the only company that meet all 6 assessment criteria on Ecospecifier for every fabric. Sustainable Living Fabrics was a finalist in the fiercely contested Banksia Awards 2006 Eco-Innovation Category for their Green Living Collection.
