Burgtec introduces the ‘IS’ task chair.
August 17th, 2009
A team of engineers, designers and environmentalists have worked together to create Burgtec’s ‘IS’ task chair, which offers ergonomic comfort, value for money and progressive environmental awareness.
This eco-conscious product was designed with sustainability in mind. ‘IS’ is made from 65% recycled content and 100% recyclable material, uses no toxic glues in adhering the upholstery and has a carbon footprint of just 36kg CO2 per chair – lower than the industry average.
The ergonomic design of the chair makes for comfortable and safe seating. Adjustable, to fit the body, the chair promotes good posture while you work.
Manufactured exclusively by Burgtec in Australia, ‘IS’ offers both fabric and leather designs so you can choose your chair to suit your space.
One of the most impressive features of ‘IS’ is the versatile structure that allows easy removal of seat and back pads, making for quick and easy refurbishment.
Thanks to this simple solution for extending the chair’s life, Burgtec are going beyond the standard five-year warranty and are offering each chair an optional 10-year warranty.
