An innovative office chair to change the way we sit.
June 30th, 2010
Okamura Corporation showcased a new addition to the Leopard chair family at NeoCon World’s Trade Fair 2010 in Chicago in June 2010.
The “Mid Back” is the more compact sister to the original Leopard, which was introduced in June 2009.
The increased versatility of the “Mid Back” is perfectly suited for a wide variety of uses – as well as offering an elegant aesthetic to suit stylish conference areas and presentation rooms.
All Leopard chairs adapt to changes in body position using a myoelectric innovative recline function, which responds to the individual, providing comfort and support without the need for adjustment.
Thanks to a newly developed mechanism, it is unnecessary to perform adjustments to account for differences in body type and weight.
Comfort is optimal, with Okamura’s unique mesh backrest technology providing an enveloping cradle to fit the body.
Design innovation is core to Okamura’s vision and the stream-lined design form was created by combining innovative robotic leg technology with an advanced seating design.
A wide variety of base styles, frame colors, seats and mesh backrest colors affords the opportunity to custom design your Leopard chair.
A ring base and five-star base with glides are available.
Okamura Corporation’s Leopard won the iF product design award in the Office / Business category.
