December 23rd, 2010
Despite it’s high output, it boasts a beautiful even light without the usual LED spots. The Venus is completed with a smooth opal gloss finish.
The VarioLED Flex Venus comes in both top or edge lit versions depending on the curve required giving you full flexibility as to the direction of illumination.
With it’s integrated heat sink the VarioLED Flex Venus is very easy to install using either it’s adhesive backing or mechanical fixtures. It is IP67 weatherproof, UV resistant and saltwater-resistant and requires no maintenance over years.
Because of the integrated cooling system no aluminium profile is needed. The VarioLED Flex Venus can be used in outdoor, indoor and wet areas – even in harsh environments.
It can be used around salt water making it suitable for marine applications. It has a life span of lifetime over 50,000 hours.
The VarioLED Flex Venus comes in four lengths and can be easily plugged together to create longer lengths. It comes in three colour temperatures, warm white, neutral and cool white and is dimmable.
As with the rest of the Hotbeam product range it combines a high level of illumination with very efficient energy consumption. It uses just 7.6 watts per meter.
