Gaggenau appliances are handcrafted in a process involving many stages of assembling piece by piece, giving a new meaning to the term ‘haute kitchen’.

New Spaces is your biannual guide to all things Gaggenau. The magazine features international ground-breaking design stories on food, architecture and interiors.

The current issue features German architect Jurgen Mayer H, who discusses the trend towards second kitchens.

Gaggenau appliances feature in kitchens in Venice, Shanghai and a spectacular penthouse in New York.

There is also a fascinating article with Dutch eating designer Marije Vogelzang, whose ambition is to make dining something special – in part through her own restaurant in Amsterdam called Proef, whose design is reminiscent of the English rough luxe movement.
