Lovers of design and fashion, you won’t want to miss Up Late In Design – a night of festivities bringing together some of the best brands in the biz.
April 20th, 2012
On Thursday 24 May, James Street in Fortitude Valley is getting decked out in its finest for Up Late in Design, an exciting new James St Up Late initiative as part of Brisbane Indesign.
Up Late in Design will bring together 32 retailers in a fusion of fashion, interior design, architecture, culture, art, lighting, music, food, drink and entertainment.
James Street will be transformed into a hub for design hunters, letting design professionals and the design-savvy public engage with participating brands and retailers in a vibrant street party atmosphere.
Brands including Ksubi, Easton Pearson, Optiko, Onepointsevenfour, Fio Contemporary Jewellery Design and San Peur will be showing off their wares.
There’ll be special discounts on the night for Up Late visitors, as well as the chance to meet and mingle with the designers behind the brands.
Art installations, outdoor cafés and designer pop-up bars will add to the fun – including Habitus Lane, in collaboration with Designbythem, where visitors can pick up a goodie bag and enjoy a glass of Katnook Founders Block while they meet the editors of Habitus and Indesignlive.
Register now and stay Up Late on James Street in Fortitude Valley from 5-10pm on Thursday 24 May.
