The wait is over – Saturday in Design 2011 kicks off on Friday 19 August.
August 17th, 2011
It’s finally here! After weeks of anticipation, Saturday in Design is set to take over Sydney’s streets on Friday and Saturday.
Spread across 5 precincts – including the 3-part über-precinct Surry Hills – this year’s Saturday in Design looks set to be bigger and better than ever, with 30 Project installations, 14 international guests, and 85 exhibitors in 36 locations.
The day will be filled with product launches, Q&A sessions with designers, prize draws, competition announcements, meet-and-greets, live music, DJs, demonstrations and more.
This means it’s best to be prepared.
Download the official Saturday in Design handbook and read up on what your favourite exhibitors are doing and when. Look out for the locations of The Project installations, and make sure to check out the finalists in our Launch Pad exhibition.
The main action happens between 9am and 6pm on Saturday, but there is also a host of events throughout the day and evening on Friday. Some of these events are invite-only, so contact the showrooms direct for further details or to make an appointment.
We hope Saturday in Design Sydney 2011 is the most exciting, inspiring and action-packed event you attend this year. Stay tuned to Indesignlive next week as we bring you all the highlights.
