Heidi.com have opened its first flagship store in Neuchatel, Swiss with a unique and interactive retail space.
Heidi.com and Zaha Hadid collaborated with Samsung Staron® to create a modern theme throughout the store floor. From fixture displays to transaction counters, Samsung Staron® allowed the architect’s conceptual designs to turn into reality with smooth finishes and monolithic surfaces.
Staron® Solid Surface has been thermoformed from the bench softly curving up to house a digital signage touch screen that creates a place of meeting of online and offline worlds. Users can select desired product images and styles on the screen, see the physical products with their own eyes and purchase or make an online order for the products for delivery This creates a very interactive experience.
Staron® in Quasar White has been used extensively in the fit out by Zaha Hadid to create a physical representation of the brand heidi.com with sweeping counters and wall cladding that flows effortlessly throughout the store. With a sober, futuristic, minimalist atmosphere that showcases the brand’s garments, the carefully targeted concept makes the digital world an integral part of the physical world. The clean lines of the thermoformed merchandise displays also makes the fashion products – the hero.
To create exposure for Australia projects featuring Staron®, the Staron® Design Awards are now open for entries. With cash prizes and an industry professional industry panel – visit the website for more information.
