Software is increasingly coming to define the modern workplace; virtualisation, mobility management, networking and software-as-a-service solutions enable businesses to interact and work through more efficient and modern ways.
Citrix is one company that is leading this transition of modern workplaces. Citrix solutions power business mobility through secure, mobile workspaces that provide people with instant access to apps and services. But how does Citrix solve the issue of its own physical workspace when moving to a new office?
Designed by Hassell, constructed by ISIS, and with storage solutions fitted out by CSM and project management by Savilles, Citrix’s new workplace in Sydney supports mobility and flexibility whilst fostering innovation.
“Our objective was to create an inviting open office environment that is a hub for collaboration and innovation,” says Mark Pettitt, Citrix’s Manager for Real Estate & Facilities ANZ. “Citrix prides itself on the fantastic culture we have, in designing the office we wanted to support the culture by engaging staff through workshops and interviews”.
CSM supplied Hinge Door Cabinets in different sizes and colours with matching perforations for personal and team storage. Along with zag door Lockers for personal storage, a Self Based Rolling Storage Unit in black was also supplied for the minimal amount of bulk storage needed.
Mark says that Citrix “had a variety of requirements to meet as a hybrid activity based working environment”, which meant that the importance to provide sufficient, non-excessive storage solutions was paramount.
As for how successful the fit out and move was for the tech company? Mark reports “We are very happy with the results provided by CSM. The solutions have met our requirements and also fit into the overall design of the office.”
