International design competition for Samsonite Baby Travel is now open

Samsonite Baby Travel have opened applications for their 2008 Samsonite Nursery Collection design competition. The entry to the competition is free and the total prize money is valued at 11, 500 euros.

Samsonite’s challenge is to produce exceptional art and use the skill of good design to make travelling easier for parents and fun and comfortable for everyone.
Applicants are free to choose any product relating to the subject of travelling with babies, toddlers and parents. The design should represent real innovations that consider the mobility, ease of use and comfort to the target users.
Applicants are open to students, designers, engineers, inventors and design studios from around the world.
